Please try to learn as much as you can before you come.

There are also lots and lots of extracts on youtube for you to listen to and watch.

We have had to close registration for The Mikado (you can add your name to a waiting list), but if you are aged between 16 and 30 (or if you have your 16th birthday during the summer holidays) you are invited to register for our second production The Pirates of Penzance. See the Pirates page for details!

We just can’t fit anymore in!
We are sorry to have to close registrations for The Mikado, but we have reached our limit on numbers. We are delighted that so many people want to take part and we look forward to seeing you all at the auditions.
We will open a waiting list soon in case anyone already registered drops out: watch this space!
Don’t forget that there are still places available for The Pirates of Penzance for those of you old enough to register.

We have been overwhelmed by the numbers of participants for The Mikado this year. Those of you who have been involved before will know that there is only a limited amount of space available at the Art Theatre, so we will have to close registration when we reach 80.
At 6pm on 12th June we had 70 people registered – so only 10 more guaranteed places left!
If you are unable to register, it may still be possible for you to take part if we have any people withdrawing for any reason, so we can add names to a waiting list. Please email us if you would like us to add your name to this list if you find that you are unable to register via the site.
Don’t forget that 16 and 17 year olds are very welcome to register for The Pirates of Penzance – there are still plenty of places available for this show at the moment.

We are delighted to say that registrations for The Mikado are coming in thick and fast. We are thrilled that so many of you are returning and we look forward very much to welcoming those who will be joining us for the first time.
It can get rather crowded backstage at the Art Theatre and we may find that we have to limit numbers next year. We are not yet at our limit for this year, but it might not be possible to guarantee participation for those who turn up on audition day without pre-registering. If you know anyone who would like to take part who has not yet signed up, please encourage them to do so!
